Amb. Hamza Shuaibu Bags Humanitarian Award
...Reiterates Commitment to Helping the Poor

Famous Global Diplomatic Peace Ambassador and Marafan Hausawa 1, Dr Hamza Shuaibu has been conferred with the Global Tech Divas Award, in recognition of his humanitarian services to people in technology and leadership in Nigeria.
The award was presented to him in Abuja during a summit and award organised by Global Tech Divas in collaboration with UNESCO, UN-Women and T-Dreams, yesterday.
According to organisers of the maiden event, Alh. Hamza Shuaibu who is also the Sarkin Yamman Arewa, alongside other few recipients, was selected and nominated due to his track record of selfless service to the needy and his footprints in the tech and leadership sectors.
The Convener of the Summit and Awards, Amb. Ego Phillips explained that the award was based on merit and enjoined other well- to -do Nigerians to emulate the honourees by reaching out to the needy.
Responding, Dr Hamza Shuaibu expressed delight for the honour bestowed on him and appreciated the organisers for finding him worthy of the award as well as a shared vision in humanitarian services.
The Sarkin Yamman Arewa expressed gratitude to God for the available resources and the will to donate to the needy and promised to continue to contribute his quota for the upliftment of the poor.
The Diplomatic Peace Ambassador donated #5 million naira (#5,000,000) as support to the organisers for their humanitarian gestures and advised well -to -do Nigerians to imbibe to the spirit sacrificial giving in order to alleviate hardship in the country.
Highlights of the occasion included a panel session sub-themed: "Women in Tech: Breaking the Digital Divide."
