KANO STATE ROAD TRAFIC AGENCY HAS ZERO TOERANCE FOR DRUG USERS - MD, ENGR FAISAL MUHMUD

The managing Director of Kano Road Traffic Agency (Karota) under the able leadership of Engr. Faisal Muhmud has made it clear that the agency has zero tolerance on the use of hard substance (drugs).  especially road users in the State. 

In a statement when a team of journalists from Abuja, where Hypenews Reports Abuja monitored, paid him a courtesy visit in his office on Saturday 26 oct 2024 . He explained that KAROTO always work with other relevant agencies like NDLEA to stem the tide use of hard drug among the road users.

"The use of these hard drugs among the road users are declining since his assumption of office,'

"He explained that ever since he   assumed office,  it has been a success and are here to achieve more and more and the  "Kano people are law abiding people,  though we may be having some challenges but the success story achieved by KAROTA are enormous particularly with road traffic laws,"

Speaking further, he used the opportunity to advise road users especially those coming outside the State, that the Agency was in collaboration with the state security agencies to help conduct the local govt election and officers and men were fully Involved in provision of security during and after the local government election. This a big plus for us and we promise to exceed the gained achieved," he stressed.

However, the MD said he can proudly tell that KAROTA was in full control of the L.G.A election KANO STATE 2024.

He highlighted the mandate of KAROTA which goes beyond traffic control and at some extent they can assumed security duties, just like election day monitoering,  He gave kudos to the ranks and file of his men for having conducted themselves in a good manner. 

However, during the interaction with media he said the legacy he would like to be remembered for us to give KAROTA a qualitative Honest, long lasting image and sincere leadership, He also believed that he wants to be remembered as managing director of KAROTA that inherited a formost office organization and took it to the highest or leave a KAROTA that can compete with or surpassed the achievement of any traffic agencies in the world.

Engr . Faisal Mahmud said all the achievement were not possible if not full support he enjoys from his superior, His Excellency the executive Governor of Kano State , Abba, Kabir Yusuf .much thanks to him," he said.
