Nigeria's Economic Growth: Group Initiates Strategic Plan To Market Country's Products Globally

As part of it's contributions to the country's sustainable economic development and growth, a development partner has initiated a well cut-out and tailored strategic measure and plan orchestrated at show-casing the nation's economy to the outside world.
 

This measure is part of it's moves at dove-tailing the efforts of the present administration at the federal level in moving the country's economy forward.




The group operating under the aegis of African Legacy International Media Services Ltd in an effort to boost the country's economy and achieve a groundswell achievement whereby the country's economy will be showcased to the global market on a larger scale, recently held an industrial and commercial expo in Abuja, the nation's federal capital city in preparation for the mega organic and natural expo expected to hold in Dubai around November.


Participants drawn from different categories of producers and manufacturers of all kinds of made-in-Nigeria products as well as agricultural goods cut across the 36 states as well as 774 LGAs that make up the whole federation, from amongst whom, a coordinator is selected to oversee the affairs of each state. 


Also in attendance were foreign partners who have developed interest in the  country's vast economic potentials and endowments.



The event which was billed to last for three days has as it's theme: "Driving the Nigeria economy to the global market level" was not only meant to foster collaboration with development partners in both industrial and commercial sectors of the country's economy, but also engender active participation that would lead to sustainable growth of the country's economy by way of showcasing them to the international market, hence boosting the country's Gross Domestic Product, GDP and more revenue for the country.



According to the President of the organization, Engr Innocent Ogu, plans are underway for the organization to participate in an international industrial and commercial expo. 

This international industrial and commercial expo, according to the easy-going President of the organization, is expected to take the country 's economy to the global market and by extension take it to the next level.


This expo, scheduled to take place in Dubai sometime in November this year, will prime itself in both organic and natural products for which accordingly Nigeria is reputed to be richly endowed, offering her a fair share and opportunity to excel in terms of marketing her products to the outside world.


While interacting with journalists after the event, the young and dynamic economic game-changer and  President of the organization, Engr Ogu, who is also a renowned economic strategist and development thinker stated that the organization has already secured a 774 market shops within the Federal Capital Territory, FCT Abuja and would be assigned to each of the state coordinators to oversee it's affairs. 


The unveiling of the market which is located at Karmo Modern market, Abuja is marked as one of the activities lined up for the 3-days expo event.



He also pointed out that the secretariat located in Abuja is expected to take note of everything each state has and can produce either industrially or commercially.



Part of the highlights of the event at the opening ceremony was the individual expositions of products either produced industrially or the agricultural endowments in various states of the federation.

 This understandably was meant to showcase the rich potentials in the country and as well woo the international market to the country.



Also one of the major activities lined up for the three days expo event is the unveiling of the 774 market shops at Karmo Modern market in Abuja.
