Governor Seyi Makinde HOW?
Kashim Shettima Nigeria's Vice President commissioned the newly constructed Iseyin-Fapote-Ogbomoso Highway on Thursday, a remarkable feat for Governor Seyi Makinde's administration Seyi Makinde.
...this 76.76km road, which did not exist before, is a rare sight in Nigeria, especially among the current generation of politicians.

According to sources familiar with the previous situation, travelers going from Ogbomoso to Iseyin used to have to pass through Oyo town and then take the Oyo-Iseyin road to arrive at their destination.
However, with the completion of the Iseyin-Fapote-Ogbomoso Highway, travelers can now directly access Iseyin from Ogbomoso and vice versa, significantly improving connectivity and travel convenience.
Governor Makinde in his remark on Thursday, expressed his delight, stating, "Back in 2021, we started with the commissioning of the 65 km Moniya-Ijaiye-Iseyin Road, then we moved to Oyo.
"With the approval of the Federal Government, we completed and commissioned the 34.85 km Oyo-Iseyin Road."
Recognizing the need for direct connectivity between Ogbomoso and Oke-Ogun Zones, Governor Seyi Makinde's administration envisioned and delivered the 76.67 km Ogbomoso-Fapote-Iseyin Road.
He stated that simultaneously, work is underway on the 48 km Ido-Eruwa Road.
Governor Makinde has therefore assured his administration's focus is on ensuring the spread of development to every corner of the state.
He stated, "Gone are the days when all our internally generated Revenue will come from only one zone."
The Governor highlighted the Fasola Agribusiness Industrial Hub in Oyo Zone, which hosts several large and medium-scale international and national businesses.

Governor Makinde of Oyo State Government Feedback has also pledged to commence the construction of ERUWA AND IJAYE ROAD PROJECT.
